LSI completes LiDAR project in Saskatchewan
November 2017 – LSI has successfully flown a 147 sq. km. block area near Saskatoon SK for a major potash supplier. The project was completed just before the arrival of winter and snow on the ground.
LSI flies new Transmission Line project in BC
October 2017 – LSI has completed a LiDAR survey for a new transmission line located near Merritt BC. The project also involved collecting data on an existing transmission line that ran parallel to the proposed new route for thermal rating analysis.
LSI awarded Coal Mine survey in Alberta
September 2017 – LSI has completed an airborne LiDAR survey over the Grande Cache Coal Mine in Central Alberta.
LSI Completes Oil/Gas LiDAR Survey in Saskatchewan
September 2017 – LSI has successfully completed a 845 sq. km. LiDAR survey north of Kindersley Saskatchewan for oil/gas and infrastructure identification and mapping purposes.
New Rail Project awarded to LSI
August 2017 – LSI has finalized an agreement with two large engineering companies for a LiDAR survey on a new rail corridor and staging area located approximately 130 km SE of Saskatoon Saskatchewan. The total project area to be flown for LiDAR is 295 sq. km. LSI plans to collect the airborne data in September.
LSI receives Government of Manitoba Contract
August 2017 – LSI has been awarded a contract by Manitoba Infrastructure for the survey of Provincial Roads in the vicinity of Thompson Manitoba. Project is scheduled to be flown at the end August.
University of Saskatchewan LiDAR Project
July 2017 – LSI has completed a LiDAR survey project for the University of Saskatchewan, Soil Research Group, collecting LiDAR and imagery over a test plot site located near Lanigan, SK.
LSI Receives New Potash Mining LiDAR Contract
July 2017 – LSI has been awarded a LiDAR project over a new Potash Mine located approximately 100 km south east of Regina Saskatchewan. Total project size was 720 sq. km. This is the 20th Potash related mining project LSI has completed since 2009. Previous Potash clients have included Karnalyte Resources, Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan, VALE, Agrium Potash, BHP Billiton, Mosaic and Rio Tinto.
LSI Awarded New SaskPower Project
July 2017 – LSI is pleased to announce the award of another SaskPower project, the 2nd SaskPower contract for LSI in 2017. The latest project involves LiDAR and digital imagery data collection over 8 proposed corridors for a new transmission line connecting Wolverine sub to the BHP Janson sub.
