LSI Awarded Large Wetland LiDAR Project in Saskatchewan
October 2018 – LSI has been awarded a large wetland mapping project located approximately 40 km SW of Lanigan Saskatchewan. The LiDAR and imagery data is required to support hydraulic modeling, engineering design and construction planning in the immediate area.
LSI Commences Work in the Yukon
October 2018 – LSI has started a LiDAR mapping project in the Yukon for a number of mining and support companies. LSI is using the MATRIX LiDAR system installed in a Bell 206B JetRanger helicopter. This is a extreme high resolution LiDAR survey and the data will be used to identify ground surface features in a number of creeks and river valleys.
LSI Awarded New Pipeline LiDAR Survey
October 2018 – LSI has received a contract for a new pipeline route located in Saskatchewan. The project will be flown early in October to take advantage of the good fall weather.
LSI Completes LiDAR Project Near Yellowknife NWT
October 2018 – LSI is pleased to announce the completion of all LiDAR projects near Yellowknife NWT before the arrival of winter.
LSI Awarded Alberta Coal Mine LiDAR Project
September 2018 – LSI has been awarded a contract to collect LiDAR and digital imagery data over an existing coal mine operation located near Hinton Alberta. LSI plans to use the MATRIX LiDAR system mounted in a Cessna 206 aircraft.
LSI Receives Potash Mine LiDAR Contract
September 2018 – LSI has received approval for a high definition LiDAR survey over an existing Potash Mine operation located approximately 30 km NE of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The LiDAR survey will focus on the tailings management area as well as the main processing plant.
LSI receives Uranium Mine LiDAR Contract
July 2018 – LSI has been awarded a Uranium Mine site LiDAR survey located in northern Saskatchewan approximately 25 km SE of Points North Landing. The Athabasca Basin region of Northern Saskatchewan is considered to be one of the richest areas of uranium in the world. LSI will commence LiDAR operations in mid-July.
LSI Awarded 7800 sq. km. LiDAR survey
July 2018 – LSI has been awarded a large wide area mapping project of just over 7800 sq. km. in size! This project will commence mid July using a Cessna 206 aircraft.
LSI Completes Panama LiDAR Program
July 2018 – LSI has successfully completed a +1000 linear km transmission line LiDAR survey in Panama for ETESA. The project was flown using a LSI MATRIX LiDAR system installed in a RotorJet Bell 206B helicopter.
